Your Most Important Relationship

Message in audio or video format

September 21, 2020

Relationships are commonplace, but the most important relationship that we can ever have is our relationship with God. Having a relationship with God, is more than just believing in God, because the Bible says that even the devils believe and tremble. Having a close relationship with God is committing your life, will, and way to Him, above all others. It’s about loving Him with all of your heart, mind, body, and soul and growing in intimacy with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Having a close relationship with God is spending time with Him every day, communicating with Him, reading His word, adoring Him, praising Him, and worshipping Him. When you have a committed relationship with God, you are entitled to all of the benefits of being a child of the King. God will make you the apple of His eye. He will rest in His love for you, God will sing over you with joy.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for my one of a kind, divine relationship with You- God of all creation, Lord of lords, and King of Kings. I recognize that my relationship with You is the most important of all my relationships and I want to grow in intimacy with You Lord, all of You, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I am 100% committed to You Lord and I thank You for making me the apple of Your eye, for loving me, and singing over me with joy. I love You Lord.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Romans 8:14

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of Thy wings,

Psalms 17:8

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.

Zephaniah 3:17
