Steps to Salvation
1. Believe in the Deity of Jesus
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. Believe in the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
3. Believe That Jesus is the Only Way to Salvation with God the Father
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
4. Admit That You're a Sinner and Confess Your Sins to God
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
After Steps 1-4 Make a Commitment to Building, Growing, and Maintaining a Strong Relationship With God By:
*Commit to Living a Righteous Life Led By The Holy Spirit
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
*Praying Daily
1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
*Engaging in Daily Bible Study AND Application of the Word
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
*Connecting with Other Committed Christians for Encouragement and Support

*Engaging in Service to the Lord

On Water Baptism
