When God Plants You

John 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:29

My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand.

Psalms 1:3

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

A garden well taken care of is a sight to behold. Seeing beautiful red roses, colorful marigolds, dazzling daffodils, and exquisite lilies can invoke a feeling of tranquility and joy. But when something comes along and uproots those beautiful flowers, well that sight doesn’t do anything to lift the spirits. Not to mention, an untended garden is easy prey for harmful pests that can cause even further damage.

One reassuring fact is that when God plants you, nothing can pluck you out of His loving, safe and secure hands. God plants you with roots too deep to destroy and stems that can weather any storm. There are no dangerous pests that can destroy the beauty that God has planted.

When God plants you, not only can nothing and no one pluck you from His mighty hands, you will grow and bring forth fruit beyond that which defies human understanding and exceeds your every expectation. When God plants you, no matter what is going on around you, He will supply all that is needed for you to grow and thrive - from the divine water that flows endlessly, to the God breathed oxygen that gives you life, and the necessary sunshine through His Son, Jesus Christ. When God plants you, you are then able to achieve your purpose spreading peace, love, joy, and goodwill to others.

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for being the Almighty Gardener. Lord I know that whom You plant and what You plant can never be plucked up. I humbly ask that You would plant me in Your divine will. Help me to grow Lord in Your purpose for my life so that I can spread Your love, joy, peace, and message of salvation to all those in need.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen
