Isaiah 35:3-6
Strengthen ye the weak hands and confirm the feeble knees.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; He will come and save you.
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
Isaiah 49:11
And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways shall be exalted.
Are you going through something that just seems insurmountable? Is there something that you’ve been praying to God about, something that you’ve been asking God to do? Is there a situation where you just need God to move?
Sometimes it may seem that no matter what you do, things keep falling apart. It may seem that no matter what you do, you’re up against a brick wall. You may feel that no matter where you go, there’s something or someone blocking your path and with all your knocking doors don’t open or close in your face. And you may feel that no matter how hard you try, your situation just doesn’t change.
Well, when God moves, things are not falling apart, they’re really just falling into place. When God moves, He will break that brick wall or take you over it. When God moves, He opens roads that are blocked. Or He blocks the road to send you down the one that is meant for you. Only God knows what’s further on up the road, out of your eye’s view, and sometimes it’s danger. So don’t be so quick to get angry, complain, or get flustered when God redirects you, it’s always for your good. God opens doors that no one can open, and He closes doors that no one can close. For sure, if God closes a door, then you’re not supposed to walk through that door, because what’s on the other side is not what God has for you. And do know that God hears every prayer and is always working on your situation before you can even say Amen.
Your job is to trust God and believe that He will move on your behalf. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. What He did in the Bible days, He can do now. What He did for others He can do the same thing for you. Trust and believe that when God moves, He makes streams in the middle of deserts and highways in the middle of mountains. When God moves, He makes your enemies get back and leave you alone. He makes your enemies your footstool and prepares a table for you in the midst of them. When God moves, He makes the blind see, the lame walk and the deaf talk. When God moves, He heals when the doctor says all hope is gone. When God moves, He restores and brings that which is dead back to life, whether it’s your marriage, your dreams, your hopes, or anything else that’s associated with you. When God moves, things will change. God will change your life and He’ll change the lives of your loved ones. He will move you forward and take you higher and higher. When God moves, miracles do happen. When God moves, things move and get out of your way so that you can accomplish His will for your life. There is a change in the very atmosphere of your life - when God moves.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for being the living, moving God, moving by Your Holy Spirit, and who always moves on my behalf. Lord when You move, things will change, must change. When You move, mountains move out of my way. When You move, the storms in my life cease. When You move, miracles do happen. I humbly ask that You move in the areas in my life where I need You to move, Lord, areas that only You can change. I pray that You also move in the lives of my family, friends, and those listening to this message in ways that they need You to move. Lord, I give You all the praise and glory and I trust and believe that You are going to move in a mighty, mighty way and that mighty, mighty things are going to happen when You move.
