But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Happy New Year Everyone! Do you have any goals for 2023? Have you implemented them yet, written them down, observed or anticipate any challenges to achieving your goals? It’s always good to prepare for plan B, those unexpected challenges as they will come because no journey is a smooth, smooth path with no challenges and bumps in the road. But one thing is for sure, with the Holy Spirit guiding you and you following, you can successfully handle any challenges that come your way!
With that being said, I want to shift your focus to a different kind of challenge, a good one. If you haven’t done so already, incorporate into your new year goals to walk in the Holy Spirit. Work on being in tune with the Holy Spirit, daily and moment by moment seeking His will and following it. Work on tuning out desires for yourself and tuning in the will of the Holy Spirit for your life. Work on promptly hearing the Holy Spirit’s voice and promptly responding to it, in everything that you do.
When you are in tune with the Holy Spirit, a palpable shift happens in your life, in your mind, body, heart, spirit and soul. Your perspective changes to more spiritual than natural and therefore you can see things truly for what they are rather than for what they appear to be. When you walk in tune with the Holy Spirit, you grow in ways that allow you to serve God at your highest level which really should be our main priority. So, challenge yourself starting today to walk in the Holy Spirit as never before, taking your relationship with the Lord deeper and higher than ever before.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for sending us the Holy Spirit through Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Father, You gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort us, to guide us, to teach us, to give us peace, to save us from unnecessary pain and anguish, to bring us closer to You and Your will. Lord, You gave us the Holy Spirit for all things good. Please help us to walk in tune with Your Holy Spirit as never before. Let this be a year of serving You by going deeper and higher in our walk with and in the Holy Spirit. Father, we commit our will to You.
In Jesus’ most holy and precious name we pray, we thank You and give You all the glory Lord,
