When Habakkuk said although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls, that he would rejoice in the Lord and have joy in the God of his salvation, he was really saying I will trust You Lord no matter the situation. Trusting in God is a requirement for being able to truly rejoice in Him. When you trust God, you can rejoice in Him no matter the situation because you know that He is bigger than your problems, there is no problem that He cannot fix, He will never leave you alone, and He will undoubtedly make a way out of no way. Trust and Rejoice in the Lord.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord God that I can trust You no matter the situation. Please help me to see that my rejoicing in You is directly linked to trusting You with every single facet of my life. My joy is in You Lord because my heart doth safely trust in You.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

But let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy name be joyful in Thee.

Psalm 5:11

I will be glad and rejoice in Thee: I will sing praise to Thy name, O thou most High.

Psalm 9:2

For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.

Psalm 33:22
