Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven:
Job 23:10
But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
Have Your ever gone through something and you wonder why is this happening to me? Or you ask yourself, when will this end? If so, you’re not alone.
There are times where things in your life can become so chaotic, the statement when it rains it pours may truly seems like an understatement because it seems to be always pouring. It seems to be just one thing after another, and you wonder when it will all end.
But don’t despair, there is a reason for it all. You see God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. He chooses to work how He decides to make things come together for good. Sometimes, it’s by taking chaos to bring order. Sometimes it’s by letting rain come for prolonged periods of time to help you grow in ways you never would’ve have without the prolonged rain. Sometimes God will allow you to be in situations that seem unbearable because He is increasing your endurance for the work that He has for you to do. And sometimes, what seems like a place and season of your life that you would never choose to be in, is just where God wants you, for the time being, to bless you in ways you could never imagine.
So, if you’re going through a challenging time, dealing with challenging people, perhaps even the worst time of your life and you just want it all to end, trust God that there is a reason. Trust that the Lord has a blessing for you in and through it all. Trust that He will never put more on you than you can bear, but He may give you all that you can bear, because there is a reason. Trust that God loves you more than you could ever know and that He wants only the best for you, and He knows just how to make that happen. It may not look like anything that you have imagined, but trust that God knows best. Trust that the Holy Spirit will be your guide through it all, comforting you along the way. And trust that when it’s all over you will come through the fire as pure gold. So, the next time you’re feeling stressed about your situation, just smile and say Lord, I trust You, I know there is a reason…
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You Lord for the challenging seasons and times in our lives. Sometimes it seems too much to bear Lord. We know that you won’t put more on us than we can bear. But Lord, You will give us what we can bear, and help us through it all. Lord, help us to just trust You during these difficult times, knowing that You are guiding us by Your Holy Spirit into all things good for Your purpose Lord and Your glory. We may not understand it all, but Lord, help us to trust You emphatically and to know that there are untold blessings in and through it all. Lord, help us to know that there is a reason.
In Jesus most holy and precious name we pray, we love and thank You Lord,
Amen
