We live in a world that is constantly searching for love, whether it is romantic love, familial love, or friendship, love is a necessity in life. Love gives one a sense of completeness, validation, and security. Love brings on feelings of happiness, joy, peace, beauty and so much more. However, without love feelings of isolation, sadness, depression, internal conflict, and hopelessness can set in.
There is no greater love than the love of Jesus Christ. He gave His very life to save us from our sins. He wasn’t forced, he wasn’t coerced, He gave His life willingly. In His perfection, righteousness, and sinlessness, He did what no one else could do and became a human sacrifice for all of mankind. And He did it because He loved us with a perfect and everlasting love.
While other loving relationships fulfil many of our needs, wants, and desires, only the love that we experience in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ will fulfil us completely. Until we have that intimacy with Jesus Christ by asking for His forgiveness for our sins and committing our lives to Him, thereby entering into a personal relationship with Him, love will never be complete in our lives. There will always be a void that no one can fill.
Allow the love of Jesus Christ to make Your life complete. Allow Him into Your heart today. He said in Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. When you allow the love of Jesus Christ to make you whole, You will experience love like You have never experienced it before. You will know the love of God which transcends all understanding. You will be forever changed. And if You already have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, every relationship needs constant attention. Ask yourself in what ways can I express my love to and for the Lord today? The love of Jesus- pure, beautiful, whole, and everlasting.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for Your perfect love that You have so graciously and mercifully bestowed upon mankind in giving Your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. Thank You Jesus, for demonstrating Your unstoppable love for us in being a willing sacrifice to die on the cross for our sins. You reign supreme Lord and Your love is truly like no other. I pray that someone who does not know this unmatched, priceless love in You, would come to know it today as they give their life to You. And Lord I pray for those who already have a relationship with You that You give them a renewed experience of Your love, that they will feel and experience as never before. We give You all the glory, praise, and honor due Your holy name and we Love You Lord.
