Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Our spirit desires to serve God and walk in harmony with Him. But our flesh desires to serve the world and everything against God. Therefore, it’s of utmost importance to make sure that we bring our flesh under submission to God. We need to make sure that even our earthly desires align with the will of God and that we use those desires to give God glory. Whether our desire is to accomplish a long-awaited goal, to purchase a home, complete a degree, have your own business, the list goes on and on, we need to make sure that the ultimate driving force is to give glory to God.
When you serve God, put your faith in Him, and align your desires with His will for your life, He will not just satisfy your desires and meet your needs, God in His infinite power will also exceed them. When you give God all of you and do His will, He will not only fill your cup, but fill it until it runs over with His goodness and blessings. God will bless you exceeding above all that you ask or think according to His power that works in you.
So let your first desire be to serve God and walk in harmony with Him. And whatever it is that you need, whatever it is that you desire, in faith, put it before the Lord. Make sure that what you ask God to do or ask Him for is because you want to give Him the glory and use whatever it is to honor Him. When you do this, the God of above and beyond will take you farther than you ever thought you could go. He will lift you higher than you ever could imagine. He will give you more than you ever thought you could have. The list is just endless of all the ways that God will bless you above and beyond when you give Him your all and put Him first.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You for being the God of above and beyond. Lord, we pray that everyone that hears this message will first and foremost desire to be closer to You and walk in harmony with Your will for their lives. Lord, we pray that as they do, that You will give them the desires of their heart exceedingly above and beyond all that they ask or think according to Your wonder working power that works in us. Lord, we give You all the glory and honor. We praise You Lord God Almighty, and we thank You in faith for blessing each and every one who honors You the God of above and beyond.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
