God Calms Your Raging Waters

What an amazing and yet truly humbling experience to relax by the ocean or seaside and view the magnificence of God’s creation. In fact, lying down on the soft sand of a quiet beach and being able to just hear the gentle waves communicating with each other in a symphony of ocean music can be divinely peaceful. However, there are times when the ocean begins to roar and the music shifts from soft and peaceful to loud and disturbing, causing a state of disharmony. Sometimes you might experience the same thing when the waters of your life shift from smooth to rough and soft to loud waves. But rest in God’s confidence, that He in His unparalleled divine strength and power can restore your harmony. God is the only one who has the strength and power to still the waters in your life and the noise of their waves. God will still your chaos and replace it with peace.

By terrible things in righteousness wilt Thou answer us, O God of our salvation; Who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:

Psalms 65:5

Which by His strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:

Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.

Dear Father God,

Thank You God for the blessed assurance that I have in You, that by Your strength and power, You will quiet the noise of the seas and their waves in my life. Please bring me into complete harmony with You Lord. You are my confidence O God.
