Trials and tribulations can be very stressful necessitating the need for help. So, it’s common to call on others, such as family, friends, healthcare providers, and/or counselors to help you through difficult times. King Asa, the King of Judah, became sick due to a very bad disease in his feet. And although God had blessed him because he had walked uprightly before the Lord, even as his disease got worse, King Asa did not seek the Lord; he only sought help from physicians. When going through trials and tribulations, it is imperative to seek God FIRST. Talk to God, first. He will listen and help you and He will put people in your path to help you as well. Only God knows how long your trials and tribulations will last and how severe they will be. But one thing is for sure, God is your lifeline for help and to get you successfully through any ordeal.
Prayer: Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for Your divine counsel. Lord I know that You know all things, see all things, discern all things. Lord I ask that You give me the mindset to seek Your counsel FIRST in all things. And I praise You Lord for working out the situation, including the divine connections that You create with others to help me as well. I claim the victory in You right now.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Psalms 121:1-2
Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually.
Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
1 Chronicles 16:11-12
