Rejoicing Anyhow for Divine Purpose

Are there times when you find yourself struggling to rejoice in the Lord in the midst of your problems? If so, some reasons could be that you’re focusing on the problem instead of the Lord, fear, or weakened trust, or a lack of faith, or weakened faith. But another overlooked reason is a lack of understanding that there is divine purpose in your problem. Each and every thing that happens to us in life is designed with divine purpose, the ultimate purpose being to draw us closer to the Lord so that we can reach our fullest potential in Him. If you find yourself having difficulty rejoicing in the Lord in the midst of your problems, ask the Holy Spirit to give you divine understanding. Next, in faith begin to thank God for His divine plan and timing in allowing this problem into your life and praise God anyhow.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for every single problem that I have encountered that has brought me closer to You. Please help me to understand, Holy Spirit, that each situation has divine purpose, even when I can’t readily see it, and that ultimately, the purpose is to draw me closer to You. Thank You Lord for Your divine timing and no matter my situation, I’m going to praise You anyhow.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:6

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Jame 1:5

Amen! Praise God for His divine timing. I had just finished praying about guidance for a situation and while praying, the message that I received from the Holy Spirit was basically let go, and trust in God’s divine guidance, purpose, and timing. Afterward, I saw your comment and started rejoicing in the Lord all over again! Wow!

God woke me up and brought me here and I see my favorite scripture. This is a reminder that once I’ve done all that I can, I need to let go and trust that God has a plan for me. His timing is always the right timing.
