When Naomi and Ruth set out for Bethlehem after being widowed, and Naomi also losing her children, it must’ve been very unsettling going to another country without their usual comforts and the resources that they needed to survive. With no money, Ruth and Naomi relied on Ruth being able to glean in the fields. It’s the same way today-sometimes circumstances in your life seem to force you to relocate. You may relocate to a different place like Ruth and Naomi, a different job, or a totally new path in life. And no doubt, with the state of the country the way that it is, many people are transitioning in life. But there’s no need to worry- just like with Ruth and Naomi, God has already been where you are going. And you can rest assured, as a child of God, God has already taken care of every single detail of your transition, because when God has a Plan, He goes before you to prepare the way.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for this season of transition. Please help me to walk in faith and in Your peace and strength Lord, knowing that You have already been where I am going. I praise You, I thank You, and I love You Lord; its so comforting to know that in Your plan, You go before me to prepare the way and provide for every single one of my needs.
In Jesus name I pray,
