Perfect God

Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

Psalms 18:30

As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.

Isaiah 42:16

And I will bring the blind in a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight.

These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

The world is full of people striving for perfection. They want the perfect body, the perfect job, the perfect mate, the perfect recipe for success. But the truth of the matter is we live in an imperfect world that can never deliver perfection because that is something that only God can do.

God is the only true source of perfection. Any other source is flawed and limited. God is perfect and He is perfect in all His ways. God created everything in perfection; as the Bible says, He looked upon everything He made, and it was very good, lacking nothing. God makes no mistakes; He is infallible. He doesn’t need do-overs and second chances because He does everything perfectly the first time. His plans are perfect, His timing is perfect, His love is perfect, His chastisement is even perfect.

So, no matter where you are in your life or what you’re going through, look to the Perfect God and trust in His perfect plan for your life. Even when your way seems crooked, when you commit your way to the Lord, He will make the crooked paths straight. He will lead you on the perfect path to accomplish His perfect will for your life. Trust the Perfect God that He has the perfect conditions, and He will give you perfect peace in the midst of the storm. Never forget that we serve the Perfect God.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You for being a perfect God who does all things perfectly. Lord, You have perfect strength, perfect peace, and perfect love. Your Word is perfect, showcasing Your perfect power. You are the Perfect God. Lord, You lead us along the perfect path. Even when it seems that we are going the wrong way, You make our way perfect, Lord. You make the crooked places straight. Lord, illuminate our human minds with a spiritual understanding to accept that You are a perfect God and everything that comes from You is perfect. Lord, You said that your strength is made perfect in weakness. Help us, Dear Lord, in our weakness to look to Your perfect strength. Help us to put all our trust in You, perfect and mighty God, as You are perfect in all Your ways. We love and give You the highest praise for being the Perfect God.

In Jesus' most holy and precious name we pray,

Amen
