Let’s be real, we all have periods of frustration, especially during trials and tribulations. Frustration can motivate you to change course, or it can keep you stuck causing stress, anger, and other harmful effects. Even when you tell yourself you’re not going to allow frustration in, you sometimes look up and see it sitting at your table, having a sip of tea. But you can overcome frustration during periods of trials and tribulation so that it does not linger and cause harmful effects. And the way you overcome it is by keeping your eyes fixated on the Lord, keeping your ears attuned to His voice, and your mind thinking thoughts of His goodness, strength, power, peace, and love. If you don’t give energy to frustration, it will have to leave. So keep your eyes firmly fixed on Jesus. Refuse to listen to anything other than God’s soothing voice and bring your thoughts into subjectivity to His will as you conquer frustration no matter the situation.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for the power to overcome frustration during my trials and tribulations. Lord I know that frustration, especially when experienced often, can cause a lot of harmful effects and keep me from doing Your will. I ask You to help me to conquer any and all frustration that I experience in the midst of my trials and tribulations, giving energy only to You Lord and Your divine peace. I give You all the glory, praise, and honor.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
James 1:19
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
