Hi Everyone and Happy Magnificent Monday!
The theme for this week is anxiety. My goal is to give you or someone you may know some daily insight and encouragement on dealing with anxiety.

Research shows that Monday is the most stressful day of the week. Not a surprise to some of you, I’m sure. In addition to what I talked about in the message yesterday (God Heals Anxiety) the first step in overcoming anxiety is for one to give their life to the Lord and enter into a personal relationship with Him. It’s like a gym membership or a membership to an organization or association. You can’t reap all the benefits without being a member. And it’s the same way with God, in order to reap all of His benefits, one has to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and choose to live for Him.

You always want to have at least one scripture to focus on for the day and that you will quote every single time you feel anxiety trying to creep in. There is power in God’s word. And here’s a scripture for today to get you started: Psalms 56:3 - What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee.
This scripture means whenever I am afraid, anxious, having anxiety, worried, troubled, I will turn to You Lord and trust You to center me in You, to calm me, to balance me, to restore me.
Don’t forget to focus and refocus your attention on God. When your focus is on God, your focus on whatever is causing you anxiety will diminish and even vanish.
And I'll leave you with this prayer starter:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for the opportunity to lay my cares at Your feet. Lord I pray that You will help me to deal with any anxiety on today. Lord help me to focus and to refocus my attention on You, the center of my calm. Help me to call on Your name, which has the power to heal. Lord I pray that You be with me on today as I open my heart to receive Your peace and my ears to hear Your voice speaking to me and guiding me by Your Holy Spirit. I thank You right now for victory over anxiety.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen
