Jesus is the answer to stress of any kind. Understandably, the stressors of life can lead one to escape. Sometimes, it’s a getaway for a few hours, a day, weekend, or longer. And sadly, some people seek permanent escape, through suicide. Stress affects people in different ways- what’s a molehill to one person, may be a mountain to someone else. But one thing is for sure, regardless of the stressor, Jesus is the answer to it all. When you have a committed relationship with Jesus, the stressor may still be there, but you will not live in a state of worry and anxiety because of it. Things may still be confusing, but you will not lose hope. You may be attacked on every side, but Jesus will never leave or forsake you. And some stressors may even throw you down, but you won’t stay down. You will get back up stronger, wiser, and better than ever before. Realize that nothing is ever too much for Jesus, He can and will handle it all.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for being the life force that allows me to overcome any problem or situation. Jesus, I know that because of You, there is no stressor that can overtake me, there is no stressor that can make me lose hope, and there is no stressor that can keep me down. Lord, Your life gives me life in all things. I pray that You would keep this ever before me for every problem and situation.
In Jesus name I pray,

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
