In The Valley of Dry Bones

God gave Ezekiel a vision of a valley of dry bones, signifying the Children of Israel who had been exiled, had lost hope, and were essentially dead. After Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones, they joined together and were covered in flesh and skin. BUT, they had no life in them. Ezekiel then prophesied to the wind as God instructed him and BREATH came into the dry bones, causing them to come to life, and become an exceeding great army. Do you know that without the Breath of God in you, that you are just existing- not really living? It is only when God breathes His divine breath into you that you come alive and become exceedingly great, ready for battle against the enemy. If you have lost hope, if you have dried up in serving God, ask God to breathe His Holy Spirit into your life so that the Lord will restore your dry bones for use by and for Him.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord God for meeting me in the Valley of Dry Bones. I ask, beseech, plead with You Holy Spirit that You would breathe into any dry bones that I may have and if not mine, I stand in the gap for my loved ones. Thank You Father God for Your divine breath that restores me, and gives me hope and exceeding strength, so that I can be ready for battle, and used by You.

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 37:6

And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Ezekiel 37:8

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
