God Will Be With You in The Valley of Battle

August 21, 2020

Listen to audio

The Valley of Salt was a popular place of battle in the Bible. David killed 18,000 Syrians in the Valley of Salt and Amaziah killed 10,000 Edomites. Have you ever been in a battle? Maybe you’ve been in a battle for a job, a battle for property, a battle for your mind, your life, or even a battle for your soul. Actually, you may have been in a spiritual battle and didn’t even know it because the Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. But, just as David was victorious in the Battle of Salt because he had the Lord God to help him fight his battle, you can trust and believe that whatever your battles, God will help you, and if needed, even fight your battles for you, bringing you victoriously through The Valley of Battle.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord God for being with me in every single battle and for even fighting my battles for me when I’m too tired or wounded to fight on. Please help me Lord God to recognize the enemy that comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I will have no fear in the Valley of Battle because You are the God of Victory and that my soul knows right well.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.

2 Samuel 8:13

With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles…

2 Chronicles 32:8

He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me:

for there were many with me.

Psalms 55:18
