I Rejoice Because My Now is Not My Forever

August 11, 2020

Rejoice in the Lord always…One might ask, how do you rejoice when you’re in pain, whether physical or mental, or when you’re experiencing difficulty? How do you rejoice when the end to your situation is not in sight? To rejoice in the Lord always is maintaining JOY in the Lord. Happiness is situational, but joy remains regardless of the situation. To rejoice in the Lord always means that you celebrate the victory in Jesus name, regardless of the way things look, feel, are. Rejoicing in the Lord does not mean that you won’t shed some tears, maybe even a lot of tears, and over some years. It doesn’t mean that you won’t be in pain. But as a child of God, rejoicing in the Lord always, means that You give God the glory in, for, and through all things because you know, as He is GOD, your Now is not your Forever.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for being God Almighty and for never, ever leaving my side. Help me to see that regardless of the situation, my joy is in You alone Lord. I will rejoice in You always Lord God, because You are the God of my salvation, and I praise You because I know that my Now is not my Forever.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Psalms 32:11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Psalms 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in His salvation.
