God wants to do a new thing in you this year. And not only in you, but around you. With the start of anything new comes change, joy, excitement, expectation and even mystery. But with newness from God, comes spiritual attack in opposition from the enemy. Moreover, be aware that the events that go on around you can affect you just as much as your own personal situation, because truly we are all connected in this circle of life. However, rest assured that no matter the spiritual attack, either on you or with what is going on around you, no matter the work of the enemy, no matter the chaos, God will give you peace in the midst of the storm. God just wants you to keep your focus on Him at all times, even when others around you put their focus on the mayhem. God will keep you, mind, body, soul, and spirit as He does a new thing in you. God is just saying Trust Me.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for doing a new thing in my life. I know that even though there is mayhem going on around me, You are the peace in the midst of the storm. Lord, please help me to keep my focus on You so that I can be achieve Your will for my life. I trust You Lord completely.
