Have you ever been in the midst of the ocean, and the waters became so turbulent until you were afraid you were going to be swept away? If not, can you imagine how frightening it might be to be in the midst of such dangerous waters? Sometimes your situations and circumstances may cause you to feel like you are in the midst of a frightening, roaring and angry ocean. You may even feel like you are going to be swept away by that big wave of a problem that’s practically upon you. But, Fear not. God is your refuge and strength. GOD WILL provide complete refuge for you from the roaring ocean of your circumstances. GOD WILL give you the needed strength to prevent even the strongest wave of a problem from sweeping you away. God is a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalms 46:2
Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Psalms 46:3
Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You for being my refuge and my strength when I am in the midst of, or facing troubled waters. I will not fear because I know that You are with me. Thank You for being my very present help in trouble.
