Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven:
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He hath made every thing beautiful in His time: also He hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
If you’ve been seeking God for something, working toward something, waiting on God for something, trust the Lord’s perfect timing, because everything that God does is perfect. You may not be where you want to be or have what you want to have. But when you commit your way to the Lord, you can trust God’s perfect timing is in every single detail of your life.
Even when you have veered off the path and operated outside of the will of God, if you repent and commit your way to the Lord, God can use even your detours for good, because He’s God! You don’t have to understand and can’t possibly know how He does that or how He operates, you just have to trust God, that He’s perfect, His timing is perfect, and everything He does is perfect.
God doesn’t half step and He has no limitations. His plans toward those who love Him and have a committed relationship with Him are always good, never bad. If it takes you longer, trust God’s perfect timing and learn to appreciate and enjoy the journey. If you messed up along the way because you were walking outside the will of God, get right with God, repent, turn to Him, and watch God use your mess ups for your come ups, all for His glory. God can do it and He will when You walk with Him and live for Him.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for Your perfect timing. Lord You are not short on time, neither does time expire with You, as You control all time. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing for every detail of our lives. And Lord also, help us become stronger in our faith and walk with You as we do so.
In Jesus most holy and precious name we pray, thank You Lord,
Amen
