God's Love is Like a Waterfall

A waterfall is a point in a lake, river, or stream where water flows vertically over a steep drop. Many people travel great distances to behold the extension of God’s divine handiwork. What a majestic site to see a waterfall elegantly cascading over a steep rough mountain side, gently flowing into a valley. Such a pleasant site can fill one with all kinds of positive emotions and give peace to the soul.

Well God’s love is like a waterfall, but better. His love flows over the rough mountains within us washing away impurities that prevent us from being all that He created us to be. Moreover, as God’s love gently cascades down our spiritual mountains, His love reaches all the cracks in the deepest parts of our spirit and soul, further cleansing and transforming us into the best version of ourselves for His use and glory.

God’s love is like a waterfall that gives us peace and calms our mind, spirit, and soul which often becomes bombarded with life’s problems. However, God’s love gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. But unlike a waterfall that can dry up in times of drought, God’s peace flows continuously, not subject to the laws of nature.

So, open up your heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul to experience the divine waterfall of God’s love. Whether flowing over the mountains in your life, flowing into the deep parts of your spirit and soul, or flowing to you in your valley, providing you with nourishment and sustenance, God’s love will transform you beyond belief. You will be ready for whatever comes your way because you will operate in God’s divine strength and peace. Enjoy the daily experience of God’s waterfall of love.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for Your amazing divine love that flows over and through us like a beautiful and graceful waterfall. Lord, Your love is so incredible. Your peace is so unsurpassable. Your wonder is so unimaginable. You, O mighty God, are so undeniable. Lord, please help us to experience Your love daily in all that we do, think, feel, or say. Go deep into our inner man and cleanse us of all impurities that prevent us from being all that You created us to be. Lord, let Your love flow and Your divine peace flow over us and though us. Let it soothe the deepest part of us, O Lord. When we are in our valleys Lord, at our lowest point, please let Your love flow like a waterfall from the highest point, which is You, to our lowest point, giving us strength, energy, purpose, and peace. Lord, we love You and give You the highest praise.
