The world teaches the power of positive thinking and that just having positive thoughts can change your life. But, this is only true to a certain extent. The problem with this philosophy is that it focuses solely on man’s abilities and the natural, which both have limitations. Positive thinking cannot wipe out sin. Positive thinking cannot stop the storms of life, and all the positive thinking in the world cannot heal the sick, cast out demons, and stop spiritual attacks. But God can and when you walk in His Spirit, that is where you have total power over your thinking. Imagine the Holy Spirt as the larger than life force of divine power. Now imagine that power in you and you walking in the midst of that power. That’s the power that will govern your thoughts and actions, naturally and spiritually. You will have power over your thoughts and the spiritual forces of anxiety, depression, worry, fear, doubt, intrusive and ruminating thoughts and more and live free in the peace of God.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for giving me power over my thoughts through Your divine power. I know that the power You give doesn’t even compare to the world’s power of positive thinking, which is very limited. Lord I ask that You bless me with even more of Your divine power over my thoughts, so that I can be free to fully serve You and live in Your peace.
