Jesus said forgive and ye shall be forgiven. But you say, Lord, it’s so hard. Well, God knows and God understands the difficulties in forgiving your enemies. But God never said this road would be easy. He just promised to get His children through all of the rough spots. Forgiveness, like love is a choice. It’s not forgetting what you remember, but choosing how you will remember what you may never forget. When you choose to be guided by your flesh, all you see is what was done to you. But when you choose to be guided by the Holy Spirit, all you see is what was done for you. You see that God was giving you a testimony through your test. You see that God was giving you a message from your mess. And you see that God was using your pain to double your gain, because God will surely give you double for all of your trouble. It is then that you can forgive and begin living your best life yet.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for the power of forgiveness. I realize that like love, forgiveness is a choice and today, I choose forgiveness. I also realize Lord that it’s not about what was done to me, but what You did for me- You gave me a testimony through my test, You gave me a message from my mess, and You, Lord God, used my pain to double my gain, You gave me double for all of my trouble and now, I am living my best life yet. Thank You Lord!

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
