December 8, 2020

Christmas is the perfect time to roll out the dough, sugar, and spice and make and bake the most delicious sweets. There are sugar cookies with white frosting and green and red sprinkles, gingerbread cookies, spice cake, fruit cake, and peppermint brownies. The options are endless, and the sweet delicious smells seemed to be etched not only in your tastebuds, but in all of your senses. However, the absolute sweetest thing about the Christmas season is Jesus Christ because there’s no greater sweetness that one can experience anytime of the year beside Him, -our God, Lord, and Savior. Jesus puts the sweet in Christmas. The Lord’s sweetness goes to the deepest parts of your soul and it reaches as high as the Heavens. So, whether you are the one baking the tasty sweets this Christmas season, eating them, or even just admiring them, feast your eyes and senses on the divine delectable sweetness of Jesus Christ. Taste and see that the Lord is good and experience the sweetest Christ-filled Christmas season ever.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for being the sweetest part of this Christmas season and every day throughout the year. Lord when I stop to take in your divine one of a kind sweetness, my senses, all the way to the core of my soul, is overwhelmed with Your goodness. When I taste of Your goodness Lord, it’s the sweetest taste I have even known. I ask that You help me to appreciate Your divine sweetness even more this Christmas season and every day of the year.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

How sweet are Thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
