It’s a fallacy to believe that when you are serving God, you will have less trials and tribulations. No, just the opposite is true. When you are serving God, know that without a doubt, you are going to be flooded with trials and tribulations. The storms of life will definitely come. But, whether you are faced with a rainstorm, snowstorm, or a tropical cyclone-whether your storms are a category one causing minor damage or up to a category 5, causing catastrophic damage, you don’t have to worry; nothing will shake your foundation. When you are truly serving God, you have blessed assurance in the midst of your trials and tribulations that you will not be moved, because you are standing upon The Rock that cannot be moved, The Rock is God Almighty. Rest assured knowing that when the storm is over, you will still be standing, because you are the house built upon The Rock like no other, for there is no rock like God.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for being my Rock. Lord, You have brought me through so many storms and I know that You will bring me through those storms that are brewing right now and those yet to come. Lord, help me to see that no matter my trials or tribulations, I will not be moved, and that I will still be standing when the storm is over, because I am built upon You Lord, the Rock like no other, for there is no rock like You, O God.
