Or
Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isaiah 61:2
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all that mourn;
Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.
Greetings Everyone,
I’m very excited to share with you that Healing Restoration Ministries is starting a domestic violence ministry for women. Although men can and do experience domestic violence as well, for now, this ministry will be for women who experience domestic violence in ways unique to this population.
The ministry will be Christ-centered with an online support group, which will provide a place for women to come and share, find support, encouragement, community, strength, and empowerment in a loving, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and healing environment. I’ve been called by God to start this ministry, which I’m very passionate about and that’s very dear to my heart. Through this ministry, I endeavor to glorify God first and foremost, support women who have experienced or are going through domestic violence, bring awareness to this very troubling and even deadly problem, provide education on domestic violence, and increase resources for those affected by domestic violence. I especially want to work with churches surrounding domestic violence as research shows there is a lack of support, education, and resources for women in the church who experience domestic violence.
Through my knowledge as a minister of God, called to help bring healing to others and spread the gospel of Christ, through my professional experience as a Domestic Violence Counselor and Advocate, RN/Clinical Nurse Specialist working with domestic violence victims, as a Lay Christian Counselor, and through my personal experience of being a survivor of domestic abuse, I am committed to doing all that I can to improve the lives of victims and survivors, as well as change laws surrounding domestic violence.
The support group meetings will be on Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm PDT and our first meeting will be this Wednesday February 2, 2022!

I look forward to growing this ministry with you and for all that God is going to do. It’s a work in progress. But my motto is God has not called us to perfection, but to obedience. So, I’m trusting God through the Holy Spirit to provide and guide. Where He leads, I will follow.
Thank you so much for your support and God bless you!
