Sometimes you may go through a dark period in your life and wonder why all of this darkness? Well sometimes, the dark times that you experience may be a divinely intentional season of darkness to actually help you see the things of God more clearly. Things shine brighter in the darkness, allowing hidden things to be revealed when the light of the Holy Spirit is shining on them. In the darkness, the Holy Spirit will reveal things to you about yourself, people, and things. And also in the darkness there are treasures from God and hidden riches in secret places waiting just for you. In fact, you can’t possibly imagine all the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. So if you are in a season of darkness, thank God, and appreciate all that it has to offer.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for seasons of darkness. I know that the Light of Your Holy Spirit shines brighter in the darkness and reveals hidden things. I ask that you would help me to appreciate my seasons of darkness and all that it has to offer.
In Jesus name I pray,
