2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
Lamentations 3:22 -23
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.
Psalms 36:5
Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and Thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
In these trying times, it can be very challenging to remain hopeful. Sickness is all around us. Crime is at an all-time high. Prices are going up sky high, while for most people their pay is staying the same. For many persons it’s just a struggle to stay in their right mind from day to day. What’s more, people of all ages are dying left and right.
Amid all of today’s problems, people are desperately searching for a solution. They’re looking to the doctor for a cure. They’re looking to law enforcement to curtail the crime. They’re looking to the government to bring prices down. They’re looking inward and outward for help to cope with all the distress and fighting just to stay alive. So many challenges to face and so much uncertainty for any resolution.
But during all the chaos, the certainty is that God is faithful. He is faithful to heal all manner of sickness. He is faithful to protect you and keep you and your loved ones from evil. He is faithful to provide and to meet all your needs. God is faithful to keep you day to day and night to night, for every single hour, minute, down to the very seconds of your entire life. Yes, God is faithful.
Furthermore, it’s so beautiful to know that the extent of God’s faithfulness is not measured by the strength of our faith. Even when our faith is weak, God’s faithfulness remains. His faith is not limited by anything or anyone.
So whatever challenges you’re facing, whatever your situation, and no matter how long you’ve been dealing with it, remember that God is faithful. He is faithful to do it. He is faithful to bring it to pass. He is faithful to His Word. God is faithful to do just what He said. So, hold on. Hold on with all your might to God’s unchanging hand. He will not ever fail you. God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. His faithfulness never changes. Hold on to this truth no matter what - God is faithful.
Prayer:
Dear Father God,
Thank You Lord for Your unmatched faithfulness. Lord, You have shown us time and time again through Your holy scriptures and throughout our lives that You are faithful. There is none like You O God. What blessed reassurance to know that Your faithfulness has no boundaries. Lord, Your faithfulness is timeless. Your faithfulness is ageless. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Great is Thy faithfulness O mighty God. And Lord while we know that Your faithfulness is not measured by man’s faith, still, we ask for anyone who is lacking faith, that You increase their faith in You right now. We ask that You tear down any walls that is blocking them from having complete faith in You, right now. Lord, help us all, no matter what we’re going through, to hold on to Your unchanging hand as we lift up Your holy name and proclaim, You are faithful O God.
