Achieving Your Goals In Your Spiritual Summer

October 15, 2020

Summer is the hottest season of the year. Whereas winter causes people to stay inside, the hot temperatures can bring them outside. This is especially true of ants that hibernate during the cold winter months. Ants are tiny and lack strength, but they have a lot of wisdom. They gather food in summer to store for winter and ants never quit until they reach their goal. While searching for food, if one path presents obstacles, they find another path. Well, like ants your spiritual summer is a time to go after your divinely appointed goals. But doing what God has called you to do is never a straight, unhindered path. You will have obstacles. However, like the ant, go over them, under them, around them, and through them until you reach your goals. When your goals align with God’s will for your life, by His Spirit, you will achieve them, no matter the obstacles.

Prayer:

Dear Father God,

Thank You Lord for the spiritual summers in my life. Lord I know that I have a work to do for You and there has been and will be obstacles along the way. And I know that it’s not by my strength, nor my power, but by Your Holy Spirit that I will complete this work. Lord, like the ants, I ask that You would continue to take me over the obstacles, under them, around them, and through them until I reach my goals in achieving what You have called me to do. And Lord, I know that when I walk in Your will for my life, I will achieve every single goal, no matter the obstacles.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
